Holistic Doctor of Complete Care of Colorado to Host Hormonal “Breakdown” Event

Complete Care of Colorado’s Doctor Jeffery Gappa will host “Understand Your Hormones: The Seven Hormonal Dwarves,” a free clinic breaking down how hormones work, Saturday, May 16 at Natural Grocers in Lafayette, Colorado.

Lafayette, CO, May 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Complete Care of Colorado’s Doctor Jeffrey Gappa will host “Understand Your Hormones: The Seven Hormonal Dwarves,” a free clinic breaking down how hormones work, Saturday, May 16 at Natural Grocers in Lafayette, Colorado.

“Many people deal with feeling run down, are unable to lose weight or are experiencing mood swings and lack a sex drive. Most of these are symptoms of a hormonal imbalance, and most people don’t even realize it,” said Gappa.

Gappa has been practicing for 23 years and is Board Certified by the American Board of Chiropractic Internist to provide natural medicine to a family practice setting. At his practice Complete Care of Colorado, he approaches natural medicine with a “4P” approach: personalized, proactive, preventative and predictive solutions.

“At Complete Care of Colorado, we feel a major problem with medical practitioners is that a common response to illness is pills and more pills, which could only mask the problem. With our patients, we get back to basics and treat the root cause of the illness with western and natural medicine,” said Gappa.

At the event, Gappa will delve into how hormones work and their functions, symptoms and concerns when there is a hormonal imbalance. He will also share how to correct hormonal imbalances throughout tests, lifestyle changes and dietary support.

Gappa breaks down hormones into seven categories: sleepy, chubby, hotty, grumpy, spacey, misery and bingey. Currently, hormone concerns have been growing in adults and youth due to chemical toxicity, environmental factors, changes in food supply and lifestyle choices.

The event will take place at Natural Grocers located on 100 West South Boulder Road, Lafayette, Colorado from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
