ASSIST Teams with RTI International


The partnership between ASSIST and RTI International is bound to produce technological advancement; ASSIST is remarkably excited for this partnership and the future research to come.

Raleigh, NC, June 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Situated as a leader in the Research Triangle Park, RTI International has increasingly become a conductor of scientific discovery, growing from a few scientists at inception to over 3,800 in more than 75 different countries worldwide. With research spanning a broad range of applications, RTI International has a strong dedication to improving the human condition by solving critical problems and scientific challenges in areas of health and pharmaceuticals, education, advanced technology, international development, and the environment.

About ASSIST
The NSF Nanosystems Engineering Research Center (NERC) for Advanced Self-Powered Systems of Integrated Sensors and Technologies (ASSIST) develops and employs nano-enabled energy harvesting, energy storage, nanodevices, and sensors to create innovative, battery-free and body-powered wearable health monitoring systems. This center of excellence received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2012 for five years of research, renewable out until 2022.
