Untitled Jekyll and Hyde Short Film in Pre-Production

A short film planning to modernise the Robert Louis Stevenson novel "The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde" has gone into pre-production. The film is currently looking for producers and financiers and will premiere at the end of this year/next year at film festivals around the world.

London, United Kingdom, June 12, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Pre-production has started on a short film planning to modernise ‘The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde’ by Robert Louis Stevenson.

The plot is centred around Henry J. Edwards, a student who is suffering from severe depression and anxiety. ’The Anger’ or ‘Hyde’ as he’s more commonly known, lives within the walls of Henry’s brain. The film plans to explore the mind of 'Henry J. Edwards’ in order to discover the truth about his mental state.

The cast includes; Jonathan Massahi, Thomas Davison and Christopher Tokota and a script should be ready by mid-June with plans to shoot in July and August.

The film is currently seeking a production company and financiers to help lift it off the ground and speed up the process of pre/post production. It is currently working under the temporary title; ‘Wrong in Mind’- a famous quote from the novel.

After it’s release it hopes to become a theatre piece in the United Kingdom, with the same cast.
