North Shropshire College to Hold Family Festival

Oswestry, United Kingdom, June 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Oswestry Campus of North Shropshire College (NSC) will be holding its Family Festival on Sunday 12th July, there will be many different activities on offer from the various subject areas of the College such as meeting Walford’s exotic reptiles; an Art Exhibition and Hair and Beauty Pamper Sessions. There will be food available from the College’s teaching restaurant, Scholars, and the College Café as well as an Indian Cookery demonstration.

The event is in association with British Ironworks, who will be bringing all things yellow to the event to celebrate the College’s new colours.

There will be many ‘have-a-go’ activities, such as archery; welly-wanging; air rifle shooting; hula hooping; a sack race; 3-legged race and mini tennis. Craft stalls and climbing wall will also be open and available, entrance will be free and there will be a collection going to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Andy Holland, Director of Business and Community Development at NSC, commented, "Come along and join in with the College’s first ever family festival, the day will be packed with all the ingredients for a great day out."
