Turner Appointed as University Chairman

Jonathan Turner has been named Chairman of Northern California University.

Naples, FL, June 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Jonathan Turner has been appointed as the Chairman of Northern California University. Mr. Turner is the managing director of London based RUE Ltd., a firm that deals in gold mining and monetization, and a principal in PGF Inc., an investment banking boutique based in Vienna. When asked Dr. Perry Faison, President of Northern California University, stated “We see no conflict in allowing Mr. Turner to continue his other duties. In fact he has been invaluable to us thus far and we see no reason for that to change.” Known as an economist with an entrepreneurial streak it was divulged that Mr. Turner has been brought in to oversee some major changes to the university. “We want to see Northern California University (www.ncalu.us) continue to evolve. I am a very strong advocate of moving the university and bending it toward business and law with an international flair. And yes, I would like to see it relocated to Southwest Florida. My wife Raleigh and I have lived here for quite some time and feel it would be a good home for the university as well.” When asked why Southwest Florida and why the international flavor he replied “Southwest Florida has an outstanding appeal worldwide as an upscale destination. In addition the fact that Naples is so strongly associated with the leaders of the Fortune 500 is a real plus. When a student thinks of business success they equate it to Wall Street and the Fortune 500 and its common knowledge that a very large percentage of those leaders reside in Naples.” He then went on “As far as business and law goes one has to simply take a look around. Very little business is conducted in a vacuum. Nearly all business is conducted in some way on an international scale. Whether it be the import of raw materials, sourcing of equipment, or export of a finished product there always seems to be an international segment involved.” When asked about timing Mr. Turner stated “I think it will take a good year to 18 months to have all this sorted out. We have some basics in place but there is a great deal more work to do.” When asked about a specific location Mr. Turner said that although they had been looking nothing had been decided at this time.
