)-- Aviara Animal Health Center is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Nancy Norell, DVM to our veterinary team. Dr. Norell is an established, well-respected veterinarian in the North County area, and has been providing excellent medical care to her patients for many years.
"Dr. Norell's knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine will enhance the medical care we always seek to provide at our hospital,” said Dr. Ben Singh, the practice owner. “She is a welcome addition to our growing family, and we are very confident Dr. Norell will continue to be the well-respected veterinarian she has grown to become. We are so happy to welcome Dr. Nancy Norell to Aviara Animal Health Center."
Dr. Norell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in animal physiology from the University of California, San Diego; her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. She practices the highest-quality medicine, dentistry and surgery, with an emphasis on preventive care. Her areas of special interest include dentistry, feline medicine, and dermatology. Dr. Norell is accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, or APHIS. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the American Veterinary Dental Society and the Cornell Feline Health Center.
A San Diego native, Dr. Norell lives in Cardiff with her husband, Bob, and their three cats: Babu and siblings Sven and Adelia, orphans she found when they were 5 weeks old. When she isn’t devoted to helping Carlsbad pets live healthy and happy lives, Dr. Norell enjoys spending her time hiking, gardening and reading.
