Aviara Animal Health Center Welcomes Established North County Veterinarian, Nancy Norell, to Practice
Aviara Animal Health Center is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Nancy Norell, DVM to our veterinary team. Dr. Norell is an established, well-respected veterinarian in the North County area, and has been providing excellent medical care to her patients for many years.

Dr. Norell is an established, well-respected veterinarian in the North County area, and has been providing excellent medical care to her patients for many years.

Dr. Norell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in animal physiology from the University of California, San Diego; her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. She practices the highest-quality medicine, dentistry and surgery, with an emphasis on preventive care. Her areas of special interest include dentistry, feline medicine, and dermatology. Dr. Norell is accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, or APHIS. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the American Veterinary Dental Society and the Cornell Feline Health Center.
A San Diego native, Dr. Norell lives in Cardiff with her husband, Bob, and their three cats: Babu and siblings Sven and Adelia, orphans she found when they were 5 weeks old. When she isn’t devoted to helping Carlsbad pets live healthy and happy lives, Dr. Norell enjoys spending her time hiking, gardening and reading.
