Texal Energy Completes an Energy Efficient Lighting Retrofit Project to Produce Great Energy Savings for CK Technologies’ 400,000 Square Foot Ft. Worth, Texas Distribution Facility.

Dallas, TX, June 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Texal Energy completed an LED lighting retrofit project for CK Technologies’ Ft. Worth, Texas distribution facility. The installation provides significant improvement in energy consumption, light output for employees, and a reduction in annual maintenance costs.

Texas-based Texal Energy worked closely with CK Technologies to support all facets of the project needs, including scope development, product specification, budgeting, and incentive procurement. Texal Energy retrofitted 400,000 square feet of distributing space with 360 new technology T5 fluorescent high bay fixtures and advanced infrared occupancy sensors. The project implementation decreased the company’s energy use by more than 579,000 kilowatt hours annually (kWh). By reducing its purchase of utility power, CK Technologies generated a $250,000 return on investment in year one and will save over $1.2 million in lifetime energy costs.
