Born and raised in Upstate New York, he moved around quite a bit, living in Florida and south Carolina for a time. He has worked a lot as a cook, has played guitar and sang for a few bands, and is an artist. But he kept coming back to writing, finally publishing in October 2007 with Forsaken Press.
