Liquid Soul Media Contributes to "This Christmas" Opening Weekend Success

Atlanta, GA, November 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- It's official, "This Christmas" (Sony Screen Gems/Rainforest Films), a dramedy about how the Whitfield family gathers to celebrate Christmas together for the first time in four years, is a bona fide success. During its opening holiday box office release period "This Christmas" exceeded all expectations coming in at #2 grossing $27.1 million and having a better per-theater average than the #1 movie "Enchanted."

The film's success comes at the conclusion of Atlanta based Liquid Soul Media's (LSM) grassroots marketing campaign, which consisted of strategically targeting the African-American market via popular Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) football events and by organizing private screenings of the film in 10 markets, all of which were hosted by faith based and/or civic leaders and organizations.

In addition to "This Christmas," LSM has also executed buy-in marketing campaigns for Rainforest Films hit movies "The Gospel" and "Stomp The Yard". To date, the #1 box office film "Stomp The Yard" has grossed over $75-million.
