)-- The vote is in for this year’s 2015 title of EQUUS Magazine’s Dirty Dog Photo Contest.
In all, there were 133 sloppy, but exceptionally cute, entries and 1,012 votes were cast. Coming out on top were two Salukis, submitted by Mother Synkletike.
Mother Synkletike included the following caption with her photo: “What’s better than one really muddy dog? Well, two of course!”
In addition to the title of EQUUS Dirtiest Dog, the winner will receive a prize package valued at $720 from contest sponsors Blue Seal, Doc’s Products, and Horseware Ireland.
To enter, owners submitted photos of their bespattered dogs along with a short quote or description. The public voted for the winner from May 25, 2015 to June 1, 2015.
