North Shropshire College Travel and Tourism Students Visit Barcelona

Oswestry, United Kingdom, June 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Ten Level 3 Travel and Tourism students and ten Level 3 Sport students from North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus recently visited Barcelona on a trip funded by the Lifelong Learning Project. The trip to Barcelona forms part of the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course, where Travel and Tourism students plan, participate in and evaluate a trip to a foreign destination.

During the trip the group visited many of Barcelona’s famous attractions and sights such as the world famous Sagrada Familia Cathedral, which is still being built after a century of work. The students also visited the home of FC Barcelona and the Barcelona Olympic Stadium and witnessed the Magic Fountain Show.

Tracey Brown, Head of Travel and Tourism at NSC commented on the trip, saying "it was an enjoyable trip for all, the students were able to experience different cultures and, for some of the students, they were given their first experience of air travel. All the students were incredibly well behaved."

There is still time to apply for Travel and Tourism, and Sport qualifications at NSC, you can apply now via www.nsc.ac.uk or call the College Admissions Team on 01691 688080 or email admissions@nsc.ac.uk.
