Preh Designated as a “Best Place to Work for Millennials”

Preh was one of only 75 companies named, out of a total of over 4,000 studied.

Novi, MI, June 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Preh, Inc., a global auto electronics supplier in Novi, Mich., has been named one of the best places to work in America for employees now categorized as “millennials” – persons born in the 1980s and 1990s – according to the Center for Generational Kinetics, a research consulting group in Austin, Texas that teaches companies to better employ and sell to millennials.

The designation comes after news that millennials are now the largest workforce in America. This is the first list of its kind to identify companies that excel at recruiting, developing and retaining top millennial performers.

Preh was one of only 75 companies making the list from over 4,000 U.S. organizations whose data was analyzed by the Best Companies Group, a workplace research firm located in Harrisburg, Pa. BCG included policy and benefit offerings from employer questionnaires, as well as employee engagement data from over 500,000 employee surveys conducted in the last 12 months.

“We are constantly looking for ways to make Preh a great place to work for our employees,” said Nick Lontscharitsch, president of Preh, Inc. “We want to provide not only outstanding rewards and professional growth for our people, but a high level of involvement and enthusiasm in our mission.

Over the past three years, Preh has received the Novi Chamber of Commerce “Best Place to Work Award,” as well as being selected a “Cool Place to Work,” by Crain’s Detroit Business.

In determining the winning organizations, eight core focus areas in the surveys were assessed: Leadership and Planning; Corporate Culture and Communications; Role Satisfaction; Work Environment; Relationship with Supervisor; Training, Development and Resources; Pay and Benefits and Overall Engagement.

Depending on company size, up to 400 employees were randomly surveyed to determine company strengths and weaknesses. A benchmark report was generated to represent the average responses, allowing the participating companies to see where they stood relative to the “Best of the Best.”
