Oswestry, United Kingdom, June 26, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- Art students from North Shropshire College (NSC) have displayed their art work for the final time in an exhibition at NSC’s Oswestry Campus; the exhibition gave them the chance to show off their artwork to staff, students and visiting members of the public. Art and Design Lecturer, Kate Smallwood, commented on the exhibition, saying "The exhibition brought together such a diverse range of disciplines from the art department this year and the outcomes were fantastic! It is great for us to show the College and community how talented our students are."
Faye Edwards, Art Course Leader, commented on the exhibition, saying "We are so pleased, it has turned out to be another amazing show this year and I am astounded how each year the students seem to hit new highs with the quality of the work they produce and the professional attitude they take to arranging the exhibition. I think the star of the show this year has been Jessica Butler with her photographic projection installation and she will be awarded Art and Design student of the year at the awards evening this week. It has been lovely to have such a positive response from the public, local artists and councillors that have taken the time to visit the show. We will strive for an even bigger and better show again next year."
Maninder Padam, Graphic Design and Interactive Media Lecturer commented "There was some very individual and innovative work by the Graphic Design and Interactive Media students this year. The students have enjoyed taking part in the show; they look forward to progressing onto the Level 4 Qualification this September."
