Italian Brothers Visit North Shropshire College

Oswestry, United Kingdom, June 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Roberto and Alessandro Tibaldi have spent 12 days in Shropshire with their host, North Shropshire College (NSC) Governor, Graham Casson. Part of their stay involved two days of sampling lessons at the College, getting a flavour of a very different education system in comparison to their own. Roberto and Alessandro participated in lessons on Business, Chemistry, Biology and Forensic Science. Branding analysis, heart dissection and finger printing formed part of one of their days, which they described as ‘fantastic’.

Head of Department, Sara Shelston, commented on Roberto’s and Alessandro’s visit, saying "The boys were a joy to host, they engaged in lessons interacting confidently with both staff and students. They talked of the differences between the Italian and British post-16 education systems and their aspirations to be a doctor and lawyer."

Sport Lecturer, Nick Flack, commented "It was a pleasure to have exchange students to experience the culture and education system. They fully integrated themselves into the group and experienced some of the practical and theoretical activities that we do in the sport and travel department at North Shropshire College. Both our learners, and Roberto and Alessandro found the day beneficial in developing their language skills. It was interesting to learn how the two education systems compare and we would look forward to more students joining us in the future."
