EZ Raise Aims to Lift Homeowner Expectations

Three local NJ natives have launched 1855Ezraise.com in order to assist homeowners in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The website is free to homeowners and aims to provide competitive bids for homeowner's home elevation projects. EZ Raise works with only DCA licensed home elevation contractors that are fully compliant with NJ laws and regulations. Additionally, EZ Raise serves as a resource to help homeowners gather the needed information to get their project started.

Brick, NJ, June 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Three Jersey Shore locals are looking to help homeowners lift their homes and get back to pre-Sandy life. Steven Libman of Toms River, Travis Cotter of Brick, and Giovanni Mistretta of Brick are the founders of EZ Raise and their website, 1855EZRaise.com is a no cost solution for consumers to receive multiple bids for their home elevation project. The website is specifically designed to assist homeowners detrimentally impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Says Mr. Mistretta, “We saw firsthand the devastating impact on our neighborhoods post Sandy. Unfortunately there are still thousands of families trying to receive the grant and insurance money they're due and working to find the right people to perform their work. It's frustrating to watch your friends and neighbors go through that process. Our goal with EZ Raise was to create a competitive marketplace for homeowners looking to raise their homes, while providing information and resources to the community about ongoing legislation, news, and regulations.” EZ Raise is currently working with over 15 Department of Community Affairs (DCA) licensed Home Elevation Contractors (HECs) as well as multiple General Contractors (GC), all of which work with fully licensed, insured HECs.

The sign-up process for homeowners is quick, painless, and free. The homeowner fills out the questionnaire about their home and project, then submits their information to receive multiple competitive bids on their project from DCA licensed and insured contractors. EZ Raise implements pairing software that will match homeowners with one of the 15 DCA licensed contractors that match the homeowner's geographical location and project requirements. Additionally, they will assist homeowners who need to begin the initial phase of their project by contacting a local architectural firm that has agreed to provide no-cost consultation services to their clientele.
