NSC Sports Students Sample Tai Chi and Yoga

Oswestry, United Kingdom, July 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sport students from North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus took part in a Tai Chi and Yoga session at the British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry; the session also included staff from the British Ironworks. The session was taken by Marica Sarcina, an instructor in Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. The session helped students broaden their outlook on different sports and activities that are on offer and also served as a trial for the NSC Family Festival which Marica will be attending and offering visitors to the Oswestry Campus the opportunity to sample Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi.

Sarah Probert, Business Studies Lecturer at NSC, who helped arrange the session, commented, "I cannot thank the British Ironworks enough for putting on such a fantastic demonstration class in Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. It was great their staff got involved and that the company invests in their physical wellbeing, this should be applauded. I am always encouraging my students to be 'Work Fit' and it was fantastic to see so many NSC students taking part. I am really looking forward to the next session at the Family Festival."

The Family Festival at NSC’s Oswestry Campus will take place on Sunday 12th July from 11am until 4pm, Marica’s Yoga and Tai Chi demonstration will be at 2pm. Entry will be free of Charge and donations will be made to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
