New Bookkeeping Course at NSC Launches in September

Oswestry, United Kingdom, July 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A new Computerised Bookkeeping course is starting at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus, if you’re interested in learning a new skill and taking more control over your business finances or looking for a way into further accountancy qualifications then this course is for you. This course serves as an introduction to computerised bookkeeping using Sage Line 50, it is a ten week course learning the basics of computerised bookkeeping including inputting sales invoices, purchase invoices and credit notes, making bank payments, receiving bank receipts and preparing bank reconciliation.

Lecturer Donna Lester, who will be delivering the course, has extensive knowledge in this field, Donna commented, "I grew up in the South East of England but moved to mid Wales almost 18 years ago where I started my accountancy training. In 2004, I qualified as an Accounting Technician and four years later I qualified as a Taxation Technician specialising in VAT. I have spent ten years working in practice preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as dealing with a wide range of businesses. I also have payroll and bookkeeping experience and extensive experience with VAT."

The course runs on a Monday night from 6-8pm with the first course starting on September 7th 2015 for ten weeks and the second course starting on 4th January 2016, the course costs just £100 plus exam fees.
