Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Invites the Community to an Ice Cream Extravaganza on July 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of its Annual Homecoming Weekend 2015.

Tampa, FL, July 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate 66 years of faith, family and fellowship during its Homecoming Weekend 2015. This year, in addition to the traditional Homecoming service during Sunday worship on July 19, the church is also planning an Ice Cream Extravaganza for Saturday, July 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m, at 4008 E. Cayuga St., Tampa, FL 33610.

Mount Olive invites families and members of the community to join in the fun-filled day of games, music, and children’s activities. As a fundraiser for an interior remodel and church beatification, there will be $3 premium ice-cream cups available for purchase as well as Italian ice and a prize drawing. Members and guests filling out entry-cards at the event and during Sunday services will also be eligible for a later drawing for a free cruise, valued at $800.

“Whether you’re a long-time member, new member, or not a member at all -- you are welcome to join in our celebration,” said Rev. Michael V. White. “We want to inspire community togetherness on Saturday and to fill up our entire church on Sunday with new and old friends. Our goal is to serve the spiritual needs of our entire community.”

Mount Olive’s mission is focused on “Growing Our Church Family -- Faith, Family, Fellowship.” A key aspect of the church’s new ministries will be on health and wellness to support a healthy mind, body, and soul.
