)-- The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance announced today that 6,500 insurance professionals now belong to the organization's online Linkedin group.
"This is the largest single network of professionals interested in learning and sharing the latest information pertaining to long-term care insurance," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (AALTCI). The Association established the group for the distinct purpose of furthering awareness and understanding.
"Unlike other Linkedin groups, I monitor the board and do not post any discussions that are promotional in nature or that have links to other sites," Slome notes. "We want this group to exist purely as a discussion board and that is clearly a reason the group continues to grow."
Slome has created other large Linkedin groups focused on Medicare Supplement Insurance and Short Term Care Insurance products. To join the LTC group, sign into your individual Linkedin profit and do a search under the groups category for Long Term Care Insurance Producers."
The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care Information were established to create consumer awareness and support insurance professionals.
