Newcomers Bar Mobile Take on Large Scale Beverage Hospitality

Johannesburg, South Africa, July 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Bar Mobile has officially launched and will be touching down in a big way. Their mobile bar services will be handling the beverage hospitality and service for the Castle Lager Rugby Championships on 25th July 2015 where South Africa will be taking on New Zealand at Emirates Airline Park stadium (formerly Ellis Park).

Their task will be to tend to the bar-service needs of all the 80 private suites, the No. 17 Restaurant, and all the restaurants for the big game-day.

Bryan Vlok, Director of Bar Mobile, is looking forward to the opportunity to showcase their skill in the mobile-bar service industry. “What better venue and occasion could we ask for? We can’t wait to show what we’re made of. It’s what we love to do. There won’t be a thirsty Rugby fan in site – all will be well ‘hydrated’.”

This is quite a task considering the capacity of the stadium is in excess of 62,000 people for a rugby game. This is also the same venue where South Africa beat New Zealand 20 years ago for the 1995 Rugby World cup Trophy, so it is expected to be filled to the max.

There has been a rise in demand for efficient bar service on such a massive scale. It has been Vlok’s dream to have his company meet this need. Vlok maintains that they have learnt from others mistakes. “We have all been to concerts or games where at key points like half-time or after the concert, the bars are jam packed with ridiculous queues. Some parts of bars are un-manned and there are no clearly-marked, designated serving points. Insufficient, untrained staff is also a problem.”

Bar Mobile’s goal is to change the game. Vlok says, “That’s where we put our focus. In order to serve fans as quickly as possible we have ample trained, dedicated staff pouring drafts while others focus only on serving. This negates the complaints many fans often have for pre-poured drinks, but doesn’t compromise on service time. Our staff are specifically and professionally trained to deal with bar service precisely for events such as these. Quality bar service on steroids.”

Bar Mobile will also be in action at the 250 pax pop-up restaurant on the rooftop of King House and the 800 pax double-decker restaurant on the field of Joburg Stadium. The game starts at 5pm.
