)-- High standards at Trojan Utilities are a recipe for audit success as they pass their annual MOCOPA (Meter Operation Code of Practice Agreement) audit with flying colours.
The annual audit comprised of two parts, the first consisted of an inspection of the company’s procedures and policies, and the second consisted of a site inspection that included auditing metering work and engineers in situ.
Field Operations Director Sean Flynn said: “The success of passing our second MOCOPA audit is a real achievement for the business; and with the feedback we received it shows we operate at the very highest of standards.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all involved, especially Tommy Appleby who completed the preparation and undertook the audit with MOCOPA and who continues to improve and maintain our compliance.”
The Meter Operation Code of Practice Agreement (MOCOPA®) is an agreement between Electricity Distribution Businesses and Electricity Meter Operators in Great Britain which defines safety, technical and business interface requirements regarding the provision of meter operation services.
Trojan Utilities is the fastest growing Smart Meter installation and maintenance company in the UK. With an infrastructure now established for national operations the company is supporting Government legislation to lower the carbon footprint of the UK by replacing the metering system currently in place with that of smart metering – to date they are currently installing 3,200 smart meters per week.
