The New Francesca G.

Francesca G. collaborates with poets.

New York, NY, July 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Francesca G. to Collaborate with Artists, Namely Poets: The New Francesca G.

Francesca G., rap artist extraordinaire, fashion line mastermind, and now collaborator, brings poetry into her life.

G. says, “Poetry breathes new life into the stale, into the ordinary. I wanted to collaborate with others, especially poets and writers, because they have different perspectives on life.”

Below are some original poems written by none other than Terri Young. A number of them are poems dedicated to a dear friend, Caitlyn.

“Thoughts, Words, Deeds, from my heart to the page”

Dedicated in loving memory of Rebecca. Gone too soon and sorely missed. You never got to give all of your gifts.

“Solution”

To want to leave us all and live no more. A second’s decision to not long for what life has in store. Now all, said and done because you’re gone.
Those left behind to sing such a sad song. The what-ifs, and we’ll get to do, and see ya later, all had to end. We miss you sorrowfully dear friend.
If only you could look at yourself with my eyes only to see the wonder, your truth in life to behold ever aft.
Beauty in possibilities of great things yet to come to pass. Dear heart I rest my case, our enduring alliance by your hand, has ended too fast.

Dearest Caitlyn,

You who the public at large has known of from afar. Anyone who has lived with courage knows with their heart who you are

“Happy Birthday Caitie!”

Kudos Dear Caitlyn
Finally born and introduced the same day.
Cherish each step and know along the way, we salute your special moment and you having a say.
No matter man, woman, boy, or girl. It’s your spirit’s strength, beauty, and grace you show to the world.
Each time one casts their eyes on your face, they can see the many great things, in you which have yet come to be.

“PLAN”

If all of the people across the lands gave a little time, once in their lives,
To help feed the hungry who might otherwise die, and those helped
In turn, gave a little time to others they knew had the same need,
How many souls would not perish?
How many mouths would we feed?

“A Love Letter to Madiba”

Dear Mr. Mandela,

Great father, leader and consummate friend,

Your passing marks an epic beginning and not a sorrowful end.
You’ve taught the world the rewards and beauty of love.

Choosing always, to shake hands as brethren and not use a pair of boxing gloves.
Towards your very jailors, subjecting you to untold torture, and
Taking your freedom away,

Once restored to power and liberty returned, you chose not to have them rue the day.

“Child Like”

If I could sit on god’s lap not for a moment but a day.
I would hear what he hears and know all that he would say.
Imagine seeing the universe and all of his grand design.
Understanding completely what he has in mind.
He’d take me under his wing and I’d cling to his side, looking
Down on the beauty of his creation, far and wide.
At the end of the day, I‘d jump down to continue on my path Once more.
Only now looking forward to everything that for
Us life has in store.
