ECT Wins Three Major Contracts from European Network Operators in June 2015

Three Leading European Carriers Order Migrations from Legacy Systems to the INtellECT® Next Generation Intelligent Network and Cloud-Based Value-Added Services

Munich, Germany, July 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- ECT (European Computer Telecoms AG), vendor of complete solutions for value-added services in the voice and multimedia domain, announces the signing of three contracts worth several million euros in less than thirty days with three major European network operators.

The contracts include major migration projects with customers moving away from their legacy systems to ECT’s INtellECT® Next Generation Intelligent Network. Many of the operators’ old solutions had reached end-of-life and were costly to maintain.

Each of the carriers also needed a platform that would provide all services together with its new IMS core. ECT provides solutions worldwide to customers with all kinds of IMS cores such as Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson as well as other next-generation networks such as Metaswitch, Sonus or Huawai.

With the INtellECT® Next Generation Intelligent Network, one single platform hosts multiple service applications such as contact center and Virtual PBX solutions as well as carrier services including number portability, access screening and carrier routing. This not only reduces carriers’ costs but future-proofs the networks at the same time.

“The year 2015 is shaping up to be a great year for ECT, as we are continuously receiving new contracts from leading carriers worldwide,” comments Dr Marshall E. Kavesh, Chief Executive Officer at ECT. “These operators choose ECT to migrate their legacy INs to our INtellECT® Application Server and Media Server (MRF) enabling them to offer state-of-the-art cloud-based value-added services. The new contracts not only include migrations but also new innovative services based on WebRTC that will shake up the market.”
