Puritan Productions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that comprises of a group of Christian and Seminary artists in the Dallas area. With Puritan writings as our foundation, this company is dedicated to presenting the Christian gospel, literary adaptations, classical dance and music to the contemporary audience who enjoys the classical arts, and who seeks an understanding in the Christian faith.
The mission of Puritan Productions is to enable Christian musicians, actors, and dancers to use their God-given creative and artistic abilities to proclaim the Gospel of Christ Jesus by utilizing the power of Christian classic writings to develop high quality drama, musical theater, and choral music to the greater Dallas Fort Worth community only to the Glory of God.
We endeavor to motivate Christian artists to create, produce, and perform theatrical productions that communicate biblical truth, share the Gospel of saving faith through Jesus Christ, and motivate people to biblical living; to provide an opportunity for Christians to exercise their artistic abilities, and further develop those God-given talents for even greater use in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to develop within the greater Dallas Fort Worth community a sincere culture of distinctly classical Christian art and artists; to provide the greater Dallas Fort Worth community a distinctly Christian alternative to other artistic and musical cultural choices; to provide the Christian community convincing musical and artistic productions that they can further comprehend and live out the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and to display the need of a personal faith in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord to the contemporary audience.
"Music of itself cannot be condemned; but for as much as the world almost always abuses it, we ought to be so much the more circumspect....The Spirit of God condemns...the vanities that are committed in music...because men delight too much in them: and when they set their delight and pleasure in these base and earthly things, they think not a whit upon God." -John Calvin
