All Change! Department Swap for Staff and Lecturers at NSC

Oswestry, United Kingdom, July 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Business Support and Lecturing Staff at North Shropshire College (NSC) recently spent the day switching departments, finding out what their colleagues teach, acquiring new skills along the way. Sports lecturers Nick Flack and Paul Clark spent the morning learning how to plaster from plumbing lecturer, Niclas Davies, whilst Textiles and Employability Skills lecturer Helen Furber and Academic and Professional Studies Curriculum Manager Sara Shelston discovered during the bricklaying session, the key skills of pointing and jointing.

Sara commented "Lecturers Dennis Mudzviti and Niclas Davies, from the Commercial Services department delivered training with expertise."

Other staff took part in hairdressing, digital photography and catering workshops. Hairdressing lecturer Rachel Young delivered a session guiding staff in how to do a stylish ‘chignon’, whilst Hospitality and Catering lecturer, Dan Tompson, taught staff to cook a stir fry.
