Pictured Travel is Announcing Moldova Wine Country Photo Tour

If you are passionate about photography, food, wines and adventure, you will enjoy this unique photo tour created by photographers for photographers.

Iasi, Romania, July 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Moldova Wine Country Photo Tour focuses on people, traditions, foods, wine making, nature and travel photography. You will have the opportunity to explore some of Romania’s best wineries, taste incredible wines, culinary delicacies, learn how to cook a traditional Moldavian dish, and witness different ways of producing wines, using both traditional and modern methods.

Wine and food have a special place in Romanian culture. According to ancient Greek writings, Dionysos, the God of wine & grape harvests was born on the fertile lands of Thracia, Dacia-Getae (Romania) being in the heart of it.

Moldova is home to two of the highest quality decorated wines in Europe: Cotnari and Panciu/Odobesti. It is also home to two of the largest wine collections in the world: Milesti and Cricova.

Pictured Travel will offer you the unforgettable experience to live and eat like a Romanian: every evening, you'll relax with a glass of exquisite Moldavian wine in your hand after a full day of hard work taking photos and dine in a four star hotel overlooking the city of Iasi. You will explore underground wine cities driving on Champagne Street, Cabernet Street, Pinot Noir Street….

You will be immersed in peasant village traditions, folklore and history, from photographing a traditional village wedding to sheep herding and river rafting in the Carpathian Mountains, from lodging into a 19th century villa overlooking the hills of the Cotnari vineyards to exploring the 5,000 years old ancient ruins of the Cucuteni civilization and the painted Medieval monasteries of Bucovina - UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The tour leaders will share with you their personal experiences and thought processes throughout the photo tour, along with tons of practical tips for creating your own images and developing storytelling skills! We also enlisted the help of local wine experts and guides to shed more light into wine making processes, wine selections, and tours of the wineries included in the itinerary. Our goal is to help you capture amazing shots that you can share with family & friends, sell as stock, editorial, or fine art. This is a unique experience.

But above all, you'll make new friends and experience a foreign culture in a way that is far different from the regular tourist.

Come join Pictured Travel in exploring one of the last remaining authentic cultures in Europe for 10 days (August 23 - September 1 2015).
