Dubuque, IA, December 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- On January 11th, the first LaughTour event of 2008 will be held at the historic Five Flags Theater, 405 Main Street in Dubuque.

The one-night-only LaughTour 2008 Dubuque event will combine performances by top stand-up comedians and an internationally renowned variety act. “I combined these two forms of live entertainment to give the audience a complete entertainment experience,” said Nick Lullo, producer and host of the event. “Not only will the audience laugh, but they will be amazed as well.”

LaughTour 2008 Dubuque will be headlined by The Magnificent Mark "The Knife" Faje. Mark, also known as "The World's Most Dangerous Comic", has performed in 19 countries and has appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent twice, The Late Show with David Letterman three times, Comedy Central and was featured on the Discovery Channel with his own special. “Mark is an unbelievably gifted entertainer,” said Lullo. “With thousands of performances under his belt, he is able to tailor each of his performances to give that particular audience a unique and unforgettable stage show.” But will the Five Flags audience see the tricks / stunts that earned him international recognition? “For sure,” said Lullo. “You always bring out the great stuff.”

Sharing the stage with Mark will be stand-up comedians Vince Carone, Tyron Foston and Steve Mulcahy. Vince has opened for the likes of Tommy Davidson, John Witherspoon, Charlie Murphy and is constantly touring comedy clubs across the country. Tyron, who moved from Detroit to Chicago less than two years ago, has already won two corporate-sponsored stand-up competitions that pitted him up against comedians from all over the Midwest. And Steve Mulcahy, who is simply described by Lullo as “one of comedy’s hidden gems,” round out the line-up. “Vince, Tyron and Steve will no doubt expose the audience to a spectrum of styles rarely seen on one stage,” said Lullo.
