San Diego, CA, August 06, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- San Diego Writers, Ink (SDWI) celebrates two years at their Liberty Station location and over ten years as a non-profit. SDWI’s Annual Community and Membership meeting is an opportunity to come together in a warm and welcoming gathering to celebrate writing and writers. Join the board members and SDWI staff to find out more about what’s in store for San Diego Writers, Ink. It will be a time to thank volunteers and generous donors and acknowledge those who’ve participated in the courses and special events, and, generally, experience an afternoon of camaraderie and community building.
The event is open to both members as a thank you and non-members as a way to find out how to become involved. Bring thoughts and ideas on how San Diego Writers, Ink can serve you and the writing community.
A special feature this year will be an offering of a selection of books from SDWI’s former President Drusilla Campbell’s personal writing library. (Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to find notes in the margins or highlighted sections that could offer hints of what made her such a successful writer.) These writing books and others will be available for sale with proceeds going to the Drusilla Campbell Scholarship and Outreach Fund.
