This scholarship will be awarded to one eligible recipient after they get started with Rue Education’s RN Bridge Program, and will cover all required nursing courses, valued up to $5,000.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary from 2012 of Registered Nurses was $65,470. RN jobs are expected to grow by 19% from 2012-2022, which is faster than the national average for all other occupations. The number of jobs added within this period is over 525,000. For those looking to pursue a career in nursing, the entry-level education for RNs is an Associate’s degree. Qualified applicants are eligible – LPN/LVNs, Respiratory Therapists, and Paramedics that start with Rue Education in August will be qualified to apply for the Rue Education Back to School Scholarship.
Awarded after Aug 31 – Eligible recipients whom have applied after meeting the requirements will be notified if they have been selected as a scholarship recipient.
