Broomfield Family Celebrates Daniel "The Lion" Day Aug. 23; Plans to Give Gratitude Awards to University and Children’s Hospital

The second annual Daniel "The Lion" Day is slated for 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 23, at the Girl Scout Shelter at North Midway Park, Midway Boulevard and Kohl Street.

Broomfield, CO, August 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Daniel and Jacquentte Jaramillo host the celebration, Daniel “The Lion” Day as an annual memorial for their son, Daniel, who was born premature Aug. 31, 2012, and died after 14 months of struggling with lung problems. The event is also a celebration of life for any family struggling with a loss, the hospital teams that take care of them along with bringing the community together. The event is intended to be a 100% give event and will provide free food, drinks, cotton candy, petting zoo, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and more.

The family hopes Daniel “The Lion” Day will inspire families that endure any hardship that good things can come from the most challenging times.

As part of this year's event, the family will give gratitude awards to Children's Hospital and University of Colorado Hospital for the outstanding care given to Daniel "The Lion." Key team members from both hospitals will be in attendance to receive the awards.
