MIDASH for Real Estate Unveiled by Philippine Startup at RISE Tech Conference 2015
GetMore’s “Accidental Solution” to Real Estate Property Management, one of a score of Philippine Startups Exhibiting at RISE 2015 in Hong Kong – Web Summit’s First Tech Event in Asia.
Cebu City, Philippines, August 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Earlier this month the RISE Tech Conference took over the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), in Wan Chai to showcase some of the most innovative tech ideas from around the region.
RISE was Web Summit’s first event in Asia, and with previous conferences being described as “the hottest events in tech” by CNN, it was bound to attract some of the region’s best. And Asia did not disappoint, over the 2 days organizers welcomed 5,438 attendees from 72 countries, 140 topnotch speakers, 300 foremost tech investors, 250 of the world’s prominent media, and 525 startups from around the world. The RISE team describes the event as
“Our vision for a new type of tech conference for Asia… a meeting place for people who are both building the companies of tomorrow and managing the companies of today.”
One such company who made the trip to Hong Kong was Philippine-based startup GetMore.ph, who unveiled their MIDASH software. Their end-to-end solution for the property development market,
“MIDASH for Real Estate is a sales tool, a POS & CRM system, and a lead market. It is both internal-facing and client-facing,” explains President and Head Exhibitor Marigrace Granlund.
Even more interesting is how they came up with the idea for MIDASH.
“It was purely accidental,” laughs Ian Callet, Operations Head.
“We started out as an online lead generation company for local real estate developers. As we sent them more and more leads, they asked for a system with more and more features to handle them. Cue MIDASH.”
Judging by the traffic around their exhibit, it seems that this "accidental" solution may have stumbled upon something of real interest to the real estate industry in MIDASH. With the beta launch scheduled for early September, time will tell if this, or any of the other innovations on display at the conference, has what it takes to become the next big thing.
One thing’s for sure, RISE will be back next year, along with more interesting stories and great ideas from the tech world.
