On Every Street Corner a Story, an Application Developed by Sharon

With the application Sharon the world can be discovered in a new innovative way. When a user arrives at a location, shared stories can be read or the user can write their own experience or knowledge for others to discover.

Zwolle, Netherlands, August 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A group in the Netherlands embarks on a new journey while beginning their Kickstarter campaign called "Sharon Locate your share." The plan is clear: to build the Sharon application for $30,000

The inspiration for the App “Sharon” is to create a platform where shared information is attached to a location. Users can open the application to view updated information/stories over their particular location. For example, the stories from those personally experiencing war can be recorded directly on the specific places where the tragedy is occurring. Tourists can read these recollections and gain not only perspective from these writers, but also education over culture and the country itself. Artists can place stories covering information over their pieces, businesses have the ability to better attract clientele, and communities can share historical information with newcomers. It's fun for everyone to discover more about locations in this way and learn.

"Information can be written by anyone anywhere. This information associated with a location is uploaded by users on what's known as 'boards.' Boards become displayed when a user opens the Sharon app at a location. This way, the visitor does not have to search for information, instead the information comes naturally to the user,” so explains the Dutch Founder, Stefan Van Dijk.

All the beautiful, poignant, glorious stories can therefore be easily captured for years to come. Written by the users, the real stories of the world can be read at specific locations.

Van Dijk now works with Sharon for eighteen months and currently has a team supporting him. Together with the team, van Dijk is ready to build the app and enter the technology market.

The Kickstarter campaign started August 12th at 12:00 am CET. Kickstarter is the largest crowd fund platform in the world. For all projects the same rule states: choose what is needed and when the goal must be reached. Sharon’s Goal: $30,000 gathered for the end date of September 21st at 3:00 pm CET to build the app. Anyone can become an investor / backer on Kickstarter and share the belief in this project.

The Sharon team is ready, the programmers wait eagerly behind their computers, and the promo video featuring beautiful locations from The Netherlands is online. Sharon is ready to launch, "What could be more beautiful than to discover the world, both locally and globally? Our stories and knowledge are the easiest way to capture life’s beauty and make it available to anyone, anytime. The search is over, we give the users information based on their location. Sharon has the ambition to change the way we are capturing the world's best stories,” concludes Stefan.
