EDM Producer Ozwald Bozwald Releases New EP, Transform

After raising $12,000 through Indiegogo, producer Ozwald Bozwald releases first EP of all EDM tracks, inspired by real-life transformations.

New York, NY, September 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Friday, August 28th marked the release of Ozwald Bozwald’s new EP, Transform. The Harlem-NYC based producer has broken new ground with his first release of all EDM tracks featuring world class singers and a Grammy Award-winning mix engineer.

Ozwald Bozwald is no stranger to the spotlight. He began his music career as a rapper selling mix-tapes on the streets of NYC. He quickly transitioned into a hip-hop producer, eventually penning songs for top brands including Coca-Cola, Bacardi, Heineken and TV shows such as Workaholics, Fashion Star, Rob and Big, and ESPN College Football. In recent years, Ozwald’s productions have leaned more an more towards EDM, prompting him to create his first release comprised entirely of dance tracks.

The title for the new EP, TRANSFORM, was inspired by the many personal transformations that have occurred in Ozwald’s life. “Transform is the only title that seemed appropriate for this EP. The amount of personal growth and transformation that's taken place in my life over the past few years is staggering. I got baptized, became a vegan, got married, completely walked away from the underground poker scene in NYC, and transitioned out of hip-hop into making dance music. Everything I've gone through emotionally, spiritually, and musically has been put into this project,” says Ozwald.

“Only One” is the first single off of Transform and features guest vocalist Josh O’Connor (Justin Timberlake, Ciara, Mya, Rob Knox). Released on August 7th, the lyric video for “Only One” has already reached 40,000 views on Facebook and YouTube. Watch “Only One” on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/LvwSyWofI2Q

Also appearing on Transform is Kevin Singleton who lends his vocals to the track “Radar.” Kevin is a worship leader at Hillsong Church NYC and founder of Elevate New York, a non-profit organization that helps inspire students around the world to graduate high school and seek higher education. The entire four-song EP was mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ariel Borujow (Kanye West, T.I., Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj).

Transform is completely funded by Ozwald Bozwald’s fan-base. Over the summer, Ozwald launched a 60 day campaign through Indiegogo raising over $12,000. “It's incredibly motivating and encouraging to have so many people invest their hard earned money into what I'm doing because they believe in me. I'm really grateful,” says Ozwald.

On Monday, August 31st, Ozwald made a guest appearance on 100 Huntley Street to talk about his new EP, Transform, and share his testimony of how he became a Christian. Broadcasting to 1.3 million people in Canada and syndicated to 60 million homes in the US, 100 Huntley Street is the largest and longest running Christian TV talk show in the world.
