Cameron Village Celebrates Founder's Day with Night at the Movies

Raleigh, NC, September 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Cameron Village Founder’s Day celebration on Friday evening, September 18, 2015 includes a free outdoor movie presentation will begin at 8 pm, preceded by a classic car show from 5 – 7 pm. Free popcorn, courtesy of the Cameron Village Merchants Association. Night at the Movies will be held on Woodburn Rd., just a few feet from the original Village Theater. The large canvas located above Johnson-Lambe sporting goods store is the movie screen for the evening. All the King’s Men, winner of the 1949 Oscar for best picture is the evening’s feature presentation (Run Time: 109 Minutes). Lawn chairs and picnic accessories are welcomed and coolers are allowed; however, no alcohol is allowed to be carried in, no glass containers are allowed and personal coolers are subject to inspection. Picnic carry-out selections are available from Village restaurants; let someone else do the cooking and enjoy dinner and a movie in Cameron Village.
