Alec Callender Joins WCRN AM 830 Team as News Director: Another Strategic Step for True Talk 830 WCRN… the Switch is on

Worcester, MA, December 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Hank Stolz, Program Director of WCRN AM 830 and host of The Hank Stolz Experience 2--6:00p.m. weekdays is pleased to announce that as of Monday December 3, 2007 Alec Callender has joined the staff of True Talk 830 WCRN as News Director. Over the last several years Callender has earned a solid reputation as reporter/anchor in Central MA, most recently on WTAG. Alec brings a positive and professional attitude to WCRN along with a long list of local contacts. Callender is another broadcast professional who made the switch to True Talk 830 and jumped right into his responsibilities.

The team at 830 WCRN is anchored by talk show veteran Peter Blute, hosting The Peter Blute Show, weekdays 6-10:00 a.m. As News Director of WCRN, Callender’s hire is part of a series of strategic steps taken by the local owners of Carter Broadcasting, Ken and Kurt Carberry with their family.
