GEFA-FLUG Airship to Fly at Color the Skies on Labor Day Weekend

Cheers Aerial Media will bring their GEFA-FLUG thermal airship to Color the Skies Balloon and Kite Festival this coming weekend, September 5-6, 2015 in Ripon, California. There are only six of these airships currently operating in the USA and this is the first time ever that one will participate in a US balloon festival outside of Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.

Sacramento, CA, September 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The German built GEFA FLUG AS105-GD airship is 135 feet long and 55 feet tall and unlike most blimps, it uses hot air for lift instead of Helium.

Christened "Amelia Airship," the aircraft will be on display for media on Friday Sep 4th and (weather permitting) will be flying at the event on Saturday Sep 5th and Sunday Sep 6th.
