)-- Mars National Bank provided water bottles for the campers at the Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund “Joy of the Game” Baseball Camp held in Upper St. Clair in August. Over 100 campers enjoyed a day of baseball instruction and fun. The event is held in honor of the late Clint Seymour, with coaching provided by 34 former teammates and coaches of Clint. Neil Walker, professional baseball player and a friend of Clint, was one of the coaches. Area youth from western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including some special needs children, participated in the clinic.
“We’re proud to support an event like the “Joy of the Game’ Baseball Camp,” said Jim Dionise, Mars National Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. “This kind of event and the Play Ball Fund are investing in our community’s children.”
The Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund enables youngsters and adolescents to experience the joy and enthusiasm that can derive from the game of baseball and relationships built among teammates and mentors. The Play Ball Fund (clintplayball.com) was founded by Neil Walker and Clint’s family and friends.
