Heng Yee Jie, 21, a Senior Technician at IQ-Group, Bayan Lepas, who enrolled with a Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering from Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC), discovers that the programme can help him in his current job of troubleshooting and designing automation products. “When I saw the part-time BTME, it was a great opportunity for me. I thought I might need to quit my job to study," he said.

The CEO of PSDC, En. Muhamed Ali Hajah Mydin, is confident the BTME will benefit PSDC’s diploma students and the workforce in the mechanical and electronics industry.

WOU also offers Bachelor’s degrees in Primary Education and in English Studies for educators and those keen on upgrading their teaching skills and English language proficiency.
