Toronto, Canada, September 11, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- StarOfService, an online marketplace, has announced the launch of its online platform in Canada. The platform connects customers with local professionals such as caterers, electricians, DJs, dermatologists, maids, lawyers, plumbers, and photographers.
The platform has been created with customers in mind. Customers simply choose the service needed and enter their zip/postal code. Then StarOfService asks a few extra questions to ensure that each customer receives the service that best fits their needs before matching them with local professionals.
“By using this technology we get the right professionals to the customers in a short time. We aim to take away the frustration and help customers and professionals complete projects,” says Clara Andrew, Regional Manager for StarOfService Canada.
Small businesses and local professionals can list their services on StarOfService to gain new clients and build a reputation for their services. Professionals from various fields are invited to register at StarOfService.ca where they create a profile that describes their expertise.
StarOfService verifies each request made by a customer before forwarding it to a professional. Professionals only pay for the quotes they want by using StarOfService credits. Professionals then submit their quote back to the customer, and the customer has the opportunity to compare quotes and decide which professional he or she wants to use.
Launched in November 2013 by Lucas Lambertini, Toni Paignant and Maël Leclair, StarOfService has seen incredible growth and is already generating over €150 million in revenue for more than 150’000 service professionals each year. The most popular categories are room rental, hairdressing, plumbing, interior painting, singing lessons, and moving services. http://www.starofservice.com/
