Penn Community Bank CEO Receives 2015 Cornerstone Award
Jeane Coyle, President and CEO of Bucks County’s Penn Community Bank, honored by SmartCEO Philadelphia.
Buckingham, PA, September 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Penn Community Bank is pleased to announce that President and CEO Jeane M. Coyle has been named a winner of the 2015 SmartCEO Cornerstone Awards for Bucks County.
The recognition is presented to business leaders from Philadelphia’s top regional companies that are both economic drivers and exemplary community stewards. Finalists are drawn from companies of all sizes and industry segments who have made a positive impact on job creation and retention, market competition, and philanthropy.

Cornerstone Award honorees were profiled in the July/August issue of SmartCEO magazine and were celebrated at an awards luncheon on Aug. 31 at the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel in Philadelphia. The recipients’ companies collectively generate nearly $3 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 14,000 people in the greater Philadelphia area.
Coyle became the President and CEO of newly formed Penn Community bank after the Aug. 1, 2015 unification of Bucks County banks, First Savings Bank of Perkasie and First Federal of Bucks County. Combined, Penn Community Bank now holds more than $1.8 billion in assets and employs about 300 people at locations across Bucks County.
Over the course of a 30-year career in financial services, Coyle has served in various management roles at both small and large financial institutions, managing retail banking, sales, marketing, operations, technology, and strategic planning areas. She joined First Federal of Bucks County in 2006 and was named CEO in 2013.
Coyle earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Muhlenberg College and an MBA from Saint Joseph's University. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bucks County Opportunity Council and United Way of Bucks County.
