QuickArrow Announces Availability of Winter '07 Release

New Release further aligns Resource and Project Management – enables resource modeling and streamlines resource scheduling

Austin, TX, December 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- QuickArrow, Inc., the leader in SaaS Services Automation, today announced the availability of its Winter ’07 product release. This latest version of QuickArrow strengthens the relationship between resource and project management to simplify the scheduling of resources, enable increased collaboration, and deliver new efficiencies across projects.

Randy Mysliviec, President of RTM Consulting, commented, “During the past decade, the growth of services as part of the revenue and profit mix of technology companies has changed how these companies must think about managing human capital. Getting the right person in the right place at the right time, effectively and efficiently, has become mission critical. For these companies, utilization is a very significant driver for top and bottom line growth, so strong resource management capabilities are absolutely essential to their success.”

The new release includes several upgrades to QuickArrow’s SaaS solution, all designed to improve utilization and forecasting capabilities for organizations of any size. One of the new key features is an advanced wizard that enables resource modeling and the ability to quickly schedule multiple resources simultaneously. The web-based solution will also support additional advanced capabilities such as automatic synchronization of resource schedules and project dates, and scheduling options that include fixed-percent allocation or leveled hourly distribution over time on projects.

Paisley's Ellen Fausch, Services Operations Manager, stated, "QuickArrow has already enabled us to dramatically improve our billable utilization and this new release will help us take that one step further. This marriage of project and resource management will automate cross-functional information flow, facilitate smarter scheduling practices, and provide an even deeper visibility into our services operations."

Louise K. Allen, QuickArrow Vice President of Product Strategy, added, “Having a single point of data entry around resource scheduling should make life easier for all of our clients, regardless of their size.” She continued, “In the SMB space, the roles of Project and Resource Manager are often combined, so this eliminates time-consuming, redundant efforts for them. In the enterprise space, it ensures data consistency across separate groups and enables more accurate cross-functional visibility.”

Earlier this year, the company incorporated Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to provide greater visibility into project health from a cost management perspective. It has also continued to enhance its Web Services API throughout the year, and recently issued its 10th QuickConnect Web Services Certification to Endeca.
