Oswestry, United Kingdom, September 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Jane Cowan, the Flower Arranging tutor from North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Shipley Campus, is representing the College at a Flower Festival in Snowhill, Wolverhampton. Jane is representing the College alongside two of her students, Julie Wilkes and Sandra Jones. The Wolverhampton themed Flower Festival is taking place at the Church of St. Mary and St. John from 11th September to 13th September and is part of activities planned in conjunction with the Heritage Lottery Fund. There will be 35 themed exhibits, the theme of NSC’s display at the Festival is ‘Wolverhampton’s Polish Community from 1948’.

The aim of the Festival is to raise money for the church, which Jane has a personal connection to, it is the church where her parents were married. Jane commented on the work her students did saying "I’d like to thank the students for giving up their time; they are doing a wonderful job. We feel privileged to be asked to be part of the Festival, it’s special to me as my Mum and Dad got married here in 1948.’ She commented on her Flower Arranging Course, saying ‘It’s a recreational course open to all abilities, one course per term, three courses a year. The autumn course starts on Tuesday 15th September, and there are still spaces available if people want to book.
