Website is City of Pearl’s New Jewel

The City of Pearl has launched a new user-friendly website.

Pearl, MS, September 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- When a family or business looks for a new home, one of the first things they do is check a city’s website. That’s where they find key information, explore community highlights, and see why people should move there, visit, or locate a business there. In many ways, it’s how a city makes an impression, like a first date. For residents, the website is the means to view notices and upcoming events, find voting locations, pay water bills and license fees, etc.

With that in mind, Mayor Brad Rogers and the Board of Aldermen insisted the City of Pearl improve its web presence, and is pleased to announce a new user-friendly website for the City. The new site offers a smart, innovative design allowing users to easily navigate through useful and current information and data, including an online listing of all key city services. Companies with locations in Pearl are highlighted in an alphabetical business directory. The website is responsive, which allows it to be easily viewed on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers.

Located at www.cityofpearl.com, the website is an engaging service that brings together its four key audiences: residents, visitors, business owners, and their employees. “We are constantly seeking to improve the delivery of services to our residents, visitors and businesses,” said Mayor Brad Rogers. “With the launch of our new website, our citizens now have easier access to their City government plus other services. They can find up-to-date information in an easy to read format – whenever and wherever they are.”

The website was designed and programmed by web development firm U.S.NEXT, www.usnx.com. “Our goal was to provide the City of Pearl with a strong, innovative web presence that helps attract visitors and prospective business owners, as well as meet the needs of current residents,” stated David Crawford, CEO of U.S.NEXT. “The site offers information about the wonderful, growing City and all it offers, with a progressive look and feel that aids in the creation of a strong city identity, builds recognition for the city, and is representative of the forward-thinking and collaborative environment that exemplifies Pearl.”
