The Taste of Primes Bistro offers a variety of breakfast items, including omelets, breakfast pizza, whole wheat pancakes, Belgian waffles, and a fresh fruit plate. For lunch, the bistro serves up sandwiches, salads, and wood-fired pizzas, all made-to-order with the finest of artisan ingredients. The bakery provides an impressive assortment of breads baked fresh daily, along with various cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries.

Primes’ fine dining menu offers guests a wealth of choices for lunch and dinner. Starters for lunch include a choice between two daily soups, made from scratch in Primes’ kitchen, and a wide range of salad options. Lunch entrées include Seared Bass & Saffron Risotto, Chipotle Chicken Pasta, and Braised Beef & Bacon Roulade. Dinner begins with appetizers such as the Lemon Grass Seared Ahi with Ginger Remoulade or the Wild Mushroom Crouton. Follow that up with a tender Grilled Prime Filet Mignon, Orange Glazed Halibut, or Herb Roasted Lamb Chops, slow roasted and served au jus on a bed of braised white cabbage and potato gratin. These dinner entrées are just a sampling of what Primes has to offer. Finally, finish off with a slice of cake or a fruit tart, all made fresh in their bakery.

Primes’ international wine list includes selections of red and white wines from Napa, Somona, and Santa Barbara, as well as Argentina, South Africa, Australia, and Europe. Primes’ Executive Chef Thomas Bader, born in New York and raised in Switzerland, brings a wealth of culinary knowledge, diversity, and flavors gathered over the course of 23 years in the business. With a passion for American, Italian, French, and Swiss cuisines, Bader's past positions include Executive Chef for The Westin Hotel in Long Beach and Sous Chef at The Hyatt Hotel in Irvine and Thurbruecke Restaurant in Switzerland. At Primes, Bader hopes to provide customers with “the experience of enjoying good food, innovative flavors and fresh ingredients in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.” Bader hand-picked his culinary staff, including bakery chef Alfonso Cianciaruso, sous chef Alan Abrams, and a well-rounded team from diverse culinary backgrounds in order to create what Southern California 'America' is all about.

Primes owners Paula and Masoud Majdi have been restaurateurs for the last 26 years. For them, the Primes concept, contemporary 'new America' with international flavors, is a dream come true. Their goal is to create “a unique space with different styles combined to create a whole experience.”
