NSC to Hold Macmillan Coffee Morning

Oswestry, United Kingdom, September 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Hair and Beauty staff and students at the Oswestry Campus of North Shropshire College (NSC) will be holding the College’s annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning on Tuesday, 22nd September; the event is NSC’s contribution to the Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’. Last year’s event raised £181 for the charity, this year’s event will include hair and nail treatments for members of the public for a price of £5 as well as cake stalls, tombola’s and other games.

The event is organised by Sharon Cooper, Head of the Commercial Services Department at the College, Sharon commented "This is one of our annual events; we always raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It will be great to see all the students getting involved. We didn’t want to just offer coffee and cake; we want to also offer a range of things for people to spend their money on! On Tuesday we have a raffle, tombola, coffee and cakes, nail and hair treatments and we hope to raise lots of money for this very worthy charity."
