New York, NY, September 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Bridal Guide is pleased to announce that Jim Duhe, Associate Publisher and Vice President of Fashion, has been chosen as the 2015 recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Bridal Market Chicago. Jim will be honored for his long-standing career and tremendous contributions to the bridal industry at the DEBI Awards in Chicago on September 29, 2015.

When hearing of the award, Jim said, “In spite of 35 years of tremendous changes in the bridal marketplace, some things remain the same. The energy of the retailers and their commitment to excellence are constant. Business contacts are friends; work is fun. It’s emotionally overwhelming to receive this honor. There are many who may be more deserving of this award but I can assure you that no one could appreciate it more.”

Jim Duhe began his career in bridal magazine publishing nearly 35 years ago as a secretary at Brides magazine. By 1981, he moved to Modern Bride as the national Fashion Advertising Manager. Also, he was the creator and founding Publisher of Your Prom magazine. Jim joined the Bridal Guide team in 1991 and plans to remain an active force in the industry until he retires…in 2035.
