Frank Harmon Architect Ranks Among the Top 50 Firms in the United States

Architect magazine publishes its annual "Architect 50" list and the Raleigh-based firm is included once again.

Raleigh, NC, September 24, 2015 --( For the fourth time, Frank Harmon Architect PA in Raleigh has ranked in Architect magazine’s 50 best architectural firms in the United States. Architect is the official journal of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

This year Harmon’s firm garnered 27th place in the Sustainability category.

“Our commitment to sustainable design and construction remains as passionate as ever,” said the firm’s founder and principal Frank Harmon, FAIA. “And we share this honor with our clients who have embraced high-performance, sustainable design. Their commitment to environmental stewardship and design excellence makes this honor possible.”

A few of Harmon’s clients include AIA North Carolina for its Center for Architecture & Design, JC Rauslton Arboretum for the Lath House, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences for Prairie Ridge Eco-Station, UNC-Chapel Hill for the North Carolina Botanical Garden Educational Center, Duke University for its Ocean Conservation Center, UNC-Wilmington for the Ocean Research Shellfish Hatchery, Circular Congregational Church in Charleston for its Sunday School addition, and the Penland School of Arts and Crafts for its Iron Studio.
