A & J Collision Repair Announces the Start of Their Hit a Deer Get a Turkey Campaign

Arkansas drivers have a 1 in 101 chance of having a deer related crash, that puts Arkansas in the top 15 at number 13. October, November and December are the 3 months out of the year that you are more likely to have a deer vehicle accident.

Conway, AR, September 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Local Auto Body Shop Gives away over 200 Turkey’s to Neighborhood charity.

A & J Collision Repair is known for its community involvement and helping outside of the automobile business. Owner Jody Gatchell says: “Here at A & J Collision Repair it is all about people. Businesses can’t survive unless people communicate and help one another. That is why I like to get out into the community and give back completely. Really because so many have given to A & J Collision Repair, it is only fair I stay in exchange with everyone around my business.”

This giveaway is not all about recipients of turkeys. What makes this program such a success is all the folks who help with the giveaway. It is well known that good organized activity that helps the most amount of people is the best reward for all involved.

A & J Collision Repair is announcing the start of their “Hit a deer get a Turkey” Campaign. This starts on September 28th and will continue till December 11th. During this time period drivers that have had a run in with a deer and then have their vehicle repaired at A & J Collision Repair will receive a turkey from A & J Collision Repair at the end of the repairs.

According to State Farm Insurance Company’s news release the list of states that have the highest deer related incidents. Arkansas drivers have a 1 in 101 chance of having a deer related crash, that puts Arkansas in the top 15 at number 13. October, November and December are the 3 months out of the year that you are more likely to have a deer vehicle accident. This is not just about repairing vehicles; it is also about helping families in the community during the holidays. For every turkey that they give to a customer during this time, they will in turn donate the same amount of turkeys on December 15th, 2015 at 1:00pm, to the Soul Food Café. A & J Collision Repair's goal to surpass last year’s giveaway of 200 turkeys to the Soul Food Café. In 2013, they donated 150 turkeys to The Soul Food Café with the help of Harps Grocery. The Soul Food Café served 343 lunch meals which 200 of them received a turkey with their meal. This will help the Soul Food Café assist families that need their help. If you would like more information about Soul Food Café, their web site is www.soulfoodcafemission.org.

This year A& J Collision Repair wants to call on the community to get involved and help them to donate the turkeys. This is just one way that everyone can give back to the community during the holidays.
