Murphy Distributors is moving to their new facility that is almost 10 times the size of their current location.
"We have always enjoyed having Branford as our base. We have been in our current location for four years and have expanded here by acquiring additional neighboring space. Simply, we outgrew the building. In order to increase productivity and efficiency in distribution, it was time to relocate to a larger facility," said President Matthew Murphy.
The move is the result of significant growth, adding new domestic and international product lines and the desire to reach new markets. New employees were trained and added to maintain a smooth running infrastructure.
The new building, located within a commercial business area in Branford, CT will have easy access to all major highways, both north and south, making delivery to all parts of Connecticut efficient and timely.
Since its inception 7 years ago, Murphy Distributors has become the fastest growing distributor of Fine Wine, Craft Beer and Artisan Spirits in Connecticut. Murphy’s passion and enthusiasm for his business was ignited when he traveled extensively through Europe and later lived in South American countries where he learned the intricacies of wine and its creation. Returning to his Connecticut roots in 2008, Matt channeled his energy into founding his original company, Do Valle.
