AALTCI Director to Give Four Free Workshops on Short Term Care Insurance

Los Angeles, CA, October 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sales of short term care insurance increased over 70 percent during the first half of the year according to a recent study by the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care. To educate insurance professionals about these products, a series of four free online workshops will be held.

"We expect to see significant sales growth of short term care insurance in the coming years," predicts Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, a national organization that advocates for sensible planning. Slome recently established the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care which will focus on building awareness and sales of STC insurance products.

Slome will present four online workshops for agents interested in learning more about short term care insurance products and marketing opportunities. The sessions will be streamed live online on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 starting at 8:15 AM Eastern.

"Each session will be from 10-to-12 minutes and will explain the essential information insurance agents need to understand," Slome adds. "We'll look at who are your best prospects, how do you market short term care products and some underwriting guidelines to help agents know who can qualify."

Insurance agents will be able to watch the live workshop online via any computer or device with Internet access. There is no cost.

The special short term care sessions will be streamed in advance of the Association's 2015 Long Term Care Sales Summit, taking place in Washington D.C.
